GEAR LISTS

Due to the environment this location is held and the unpredictable nature of the weather, we do have compulsory gear list to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.

In our cabin, all sleep mats cook wear and utensils are provided.

Winter/Autumn/Spring Gear List:

* Hiking pack, ideally 70ltrs to accommodate for warm items of clothing

* Waterproof, sturdy hiking boots

* Insulated waterproof/windproof jacket (colder conditions)

* Waterproof/windproof spray jacket (for windy but warmer conditions)

* Waterproof/windproof pants.

* Waterproof insulated and thin gloves

* Mid Layer Clothing (zip up merino, hoodie etc)

* Base layers (wool/merino, thermals)

* Thermal socks x 2

* Scarf or neck warmer

* Wool/Thermal Beanie & hat

* Light t-shirt and shorts in case of unexpected hot weather for the time of year

* Sleeping bag

* Personal medication & sunscreen

* Sturdy drinking bottle

* Notepad and pen

* 2 x rubbish bags for wet gear

* A small microfleece towel

* Sunglasses

* Headtorch

* No cotton base or mid layers, ideally merino or equivalent thermal layers

* We will have the ability to dry wet gear in the cabin
